The products include a Hydrating Micellar Milk Cleanser, a Hydrating Daily Cleanser and a Hydrating Cleansing Balm. The skincare brand says the products leave the skin soft and nourished without causing itching or dryness.
The dermatologist-created products are free of parabens, fragrance and soap. They are also pegged as non-comedogenic, non-drying and gentle on sensitive skin.
“While the skincare category has made significant strides to transform how our culture defines what’s beautiful, there remains an opportunity to push for more inclusive and holistic definitions,” says Tyler Smith, marketing lead for Bridges Consumer Healthcare at Albolene.
“Albolene continues to support all forms of self-expression. No matter if you feel that your most beautiful self is bare-faced fresh out of a shower or in a full face of makeup, ready for a night out, we want our consumers to live confidently in their skin.”

The brand is currently building on its previous innovations with a range of cleansers made with simple, clear formulas that giveClinically-backed formulations
According to the company, a clinical study that compared the Hydrating Micellar Milk Cleanser to competitors in the makeup removal market, Albolene’s new formula ranked first overall for makeup removal, was up to three times as effective at removing waterproof makeup and provided more than four times the amount of moisture.
A UV makeup and advanced facial imaging technology evaluation also revealed that Albolene’s Hydrating Micellar Milk Cleanser outperformed the top-selling micellar makeup remover brand in terms of effectively removing makeup.
According to a blind consumer home testing set, nine out of ten people preferred the Albolene Micellar Milk Cleanser over their existing makeup removal solution, and nine out of ten said it is suitable for even sensitive skin.
The “hydration packed” cleansing line
Micelle technology is used by the hydrating Micellar Milk Cleanser to easily collect and remove dirt, oil and makeup without removing the skin’s natural oils.
The Hydrating Micellar Milk Cleanser has a moisture-rich solution with calming aloe and high levels of vitamin C found in coconut milk, which helps preserve skin elasticity and flexibility and protects against wrinkles, sagging skin and age spots.
A makeup remover with the same effectiveness as Albolene’s original Moisturizing Cleanser but in a solid balm form that dissolves traces of makeup is called Hydrating Cleansing Balm.
The Hydrating Cleansing Balm’s formula is improved with shea butter and jojoba oil to boost softness and radiance and it melts away makeup without the need for abrasive rubbing.
Meanwhile, the Hydrating Daily Cleanser is a moisturizing product that provides cleansing and optimum hydration even for sensitive skin. Hyaluronic acid is one of five combined moisturizers in this product to increase hydration and smoothness while retaining moisture long after removing makeup.
The new line of moisturizing cleansers is now available on Amazon. It will be in select retailers later this fall, joining Albolene’s initial Moisturizing Cleanser, which is also undergoing a packaging revamp next year.
