Amcor has equipped Fragrances of Ireland with a range of plastic bottles and flexible tubes to support the company’s expansion of its signature brand, Inis the Energy of the Sea, into hair care solutions.
The range includes a 150 mL bottle and pump, a 300 mL bottle, and a 250 mL flexible tube for Fragrances of Ireland’s new shampoo, conditioner, and spray. The bottle and spray are made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), while the flexible tube is a mix of HDPE and linear low-density polyethylene, and the closures are polypropylene.
Joe Horton, regional sales director, Amcor Rigid Packaging Solutions International, says: “This project demonstrates our versatility, with the knowledge and ability to handle different materials to achieve a distinctive and consistent family range of packaging.”

The new? Inis the Energy of the Sea range includes perfumes, skin care, shower gel, candles, and diffusers. Its body care products feature skin-restoring ingredients harvested from the North Atlantic, such as seaweed extracts and sea minerals, that aim to soothe and hydrate the skin.
According to Amcor, the bottles are lightweight and durable, combining protection and consumer convenience.
Raquel Gil, new product development & marketing coordinator at Fragrances of Ireland, says: “Amcor’s manufacturing and decoration expertise, together with the ability to manage the production of all three packs, mean we have the same high quality of construction across the range while ensuring that all our launch deadlines were met.”
For the bottle and tube design, Fragrances of Ireland employed Crilly & Wardell Design Consultants to develop a look that complemented the Inis brand identity, which incorporates a silver-foil logo.
Amcor is set to show its expanded range of rigid and flexible packaging solutions at Packaging Innovations & Empack 2026, in Birmingham, UK, which starts today. Its solutions offer flexible and rigid options, designed to help brands comply with UK packaging regulations.
In recent hair care packaging developments, Sidel supplied Italian hair care company Farmavita with an EvoBlow stretch-blow-molding machine for on-site production of PET bottles. The system is designed to increase resistance to hydrogen peroxide-containing hair care products, which can become volatile during transport and degrade bottles.
