Designs for Health unveils advanced collagen formulas for beauty and wellness
21 Nov 2023 --- Supplements provider Designs for Health has introduced two collagen formulations: Whole Beauty Collagen and Collagen + MCT. This strategic expansion complements the brand’s bestseller, Whole Body Collagen, offering consumers a trifecta of research-backed collagen products.
Whole Beauty Collagen is a daily powder blend featuring hydrolyzed collagen peptides and Lustriva, a patented mixture of stabilized biotin and silica. According to data from Innova Market Insights, biotin is the top ingredient in supplements targeting beauty purposes (35%) with skin health claims (Global, CAGR 2018 to 2022).
The product’s comprehensive formula is designed to support hair, skin and nails. Lustriva aims to enhance hair fullness, promote optimal skin texture and fortify nails.
Notably, the magnesium biotinate in this formula shows superior dissolvability and absorption, up to 40 times, compared to biotin used in common beauty products, claims Designs for Health.
Power-packed holistic blends
Collagen + MCT is marketed as a keto-friendly powder infused with hydrolyzed collagen peptides and medium-chain triglycerides (C8 & C10 MCTs) from premium coconut oil sources.
MCTs, known for efficient metabolism and energy production, are valuable for brain, heart and muscle health.
The two launches synergize with Whole Body Collagen, the brand’s cornerstone formulation, holistically benefiting bones, joints and skin.
The blend features research-backed collagen peptide blends Verisol, Fortigel and Fortibone. This blend is designed to optimize collagen production, bone strength, joint health and skin elasticity.
Flourishing market
Whole Beauty Collagen, Collagen + MCT and Whole Body Collagen are versatile, unflavored, and unsweetened, easily blended into any beverage or shake. They are gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free and non-GMO.
“While the collagen supplement market has flourished, not all products are equal. We are proud to offer three high-quality formulations that consumers and practitioners can trust,” says Dr. David M. Brady, chief medical officer at Designs for Health.
“Collagen, vital for the body’s protein and skin structure, diminishes with age, making supplementation crucial. Our SKUs provide adults convenient ways to incorporate clinically studied collagen into their daily wellness routines.”
