US skin and hair care manufacturer NourishUs Naturals is introducing the CBD Ready Collection, a range of ten cosmetic bases tested for stability, texture, and preservation when formulated with hemp-derived CBD (cannabidiol).
The Portland, Oregon-based company says the collection targets brands looking to enter the CBD topicals space without starting formulation work from scratch. The ten bases cover body, face, and scalp applications.
“CBD Ready bases give brands a smarter entry point into the CBD topicals category,” says Laura Badcock, COO of the company. “By validating compatibility upfront, we help brands move faster, develop distinctive cosmetic products, and compete confidently in a rapidly expanding market.”
Built for brands
The ingredients are the Simple MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) Cream, Aloe Gel, Massage Oil, Vegan Sensitive Skin Balm, Hemp Lotion, Niacinamide Facial Serum, Calming Facial Toner, Clarifying Facial Cleanser, Hemp Cream, and a Walnut Face, Body and Scalp Exfoliator.
NourishUs Naturals states that the breadth of the range reflects how broadly CBD has spread across personal care — from facial skin care and post-activity body products through to scalp treatments. This gives brands a ready-made formulation foundation across multiple product formats rather than a single category entry point.
Additionally, each base comes with guidance on oil and solvent balance, texture, and packaging, and is designed to work at typical cosmetic-use levels of hemp-derived CBD. NourishUs Naturals says the compatibility testing has been done upfront, meaning brands can move into development and production without having to validate the base themselves.
The company is also offering connections to hemp-derived CBD ingredient suppliers, such as the US-based CBD ingredient manufacturer, Mile High Labs, to support sourcing and quality considerations.
For brands that are new to the hemp ingredients space, the company states that establishing supply relationships can be as important as formulation.
Regulatory made easy
On the regulatory side, NourishUs Naturals says it provides documentation and labeling guidance aligned with the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act (MoCRA). This helps brands meet regulatory expectations without making unsupported cosmetic claims.
MoCRA, which brought US cosmetic manufacturers under more structured US FDA oversight, introduced requirements around safety substantiation and product documentation that apply to finished CBD-infused products.
By building guidance around those requirements into the collection from the outset, NourishUs Naturals is positioning the CBD Ready Collection as a lower-risk starting point for brands that want exposure in the category without absorbing the full compliance overhead on their own.
