Subtl launches Stak 2.0 with clean ingredients and increased packaging life

31 Jul 2023 --- Subtl, specializing in stackable makeup solutions, has released its Stak 2.0 for consumers to build a custom makeup collection with revamped pods and packaging. 

The product’s concept is to create an entire makeup routine that fits in the palm of a hand that can be refilled for consumer convenience. The refillable design utilizes a monomaterial and bezel technology which extends the packaging’s lifecycle. 

Subtl used customer feedback to redesign its formula to meet clean beauty standards. The products underwent “meticulous reformulation while maintaining the quality of their color selections.”

The available stackable products include a jojoba-infused lip and cheek tint, concealers, blushes, highlighters and eyeshadows. Each stackable product costs US$14.

New features launched with the Stack 2.0 include skin conditioning with ingredients like bayberry fruit wax and vitamin E, sheer and pigment load adjustments for buildable results. Customers can take Subtl’s quiz to find their perfect stack match.

All product formulations within the Stack 2.0 line are vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free and fragrance-free.

The compact, customizable solution was cultivated to meet consumers’ makeup needs during the hustle of everyday life and the desire to look put together effortlessly.

The formula is made for efficiency, ease of application and long-lasting wear.

Beauty packaging in spotlight
In related news, Quadpack introduced its Duetto Jar packaging solution for cosmetics, likened to a “duet of two performers of equal importance.” The monomaterial container is made entirely of PP, ensuring easy recyclability and compatibility with most skin care formulas on the market.

Ethical cosmetic brand Respectueuse launched a product line of deodorants using Sonoco’s fully recyclable, rigid paper EnviroStick packaging. The EnviroStick is composed of recycled cardboard, which Respectueuse claims will facilitate and drive-up recycling rates for cosmetics consumers in the French market.
