Specialty chemicals provider Azelis signed an agreement to purchase all of the shares of Daalt Kauçuk San (Daalt), a distributor of specialized chemicals operating in the rubber and plastics additives (R&PA) sector in Turkey. The purchase of Daalt expands Azelis’ R&PA presence in Turkey. The broad range of products Daalt strategically complements the Group’s lateral value chain for industrial chemicals, boosting the options and technical know-how Azelis can provide its customers. Daalt, with 14 employees, provides products and expertise to over 400 customers. The company’s CEO, Sadik Daalt, will remain in charge of the company to ensure a smooth transition into Azelis. After customary closing conditions are met, the transaction is expected to close at the end of the third quarter.
