Limited edition launches include rose gold body glow and sugar coated nails by Peeps
02 Mar 2023 --- Approaching spring, consumers may be feeling more inclined toward scouring new sections of the beauty aisle for products that signal a fresh change.
New limited edition launches by Sally Hansen, Sisley Paris and Kopari sport bright pops of color and vibrant packaging.
Sugar coated marshmallow nails
For a second time, nail polish brand Sally Hansen has teamed up with the Peeps to introduce a limited-edition collection inspired by marshmallow treats. The new Sally Hansen Insta-Dri X Peeps Collection comprises seven shades that feature an all new “sugar texture” for a finish that “feels exactly like a sugar-coated Peeps Marshmallow treat.”
Each polish in the collection incorporates Sally Hansen’s Insta-Dri quick-dry polish technology. Insta-Dri features a three-in-one formula with a built-in base and top coat that dries in just 60 seconds.
Meanwhile, the collection also features Insta-Dri’s new swift precision brush that is designed for full coverage in just one stroke.
“Our first partnership with Peeps was so well-received we just had to do it again. We loved seeing all the creative ways our consumers used our polishes from creating nail art to including them in Easter baskets. We are looking forward to our second year partnering with the brand to bring smiles to everyone this Spring,” comments Celia Tombalakian, VP of global marketing for Sally Hansen.
The limited-edition Sally Hansen Insta-Dri X Peeps Collection features seven shades that can be mixed and matched: Classic Chick, Pink Bunny, Blue Chick, Purple Bunny, Cotton Candy, Marshmallow and Party Cake.
Red zebra-striped lipstick
Lipstick brand Sisley Paris has released a line of limited edition Phyto-Rouge lipsticks in three new exclusive lipstick shades. To mark the occasion, Sisley changed its traditional black zebra stripes to a bright red.
TNT Group, which creates primary and promotional packaging, designed and manufactured the case for the new lipsticks.
The lipstick case comprises a gold anodized aluminum outer shell and a black PolyPropylene liner. The zebra stripes and S on top of the case are silk screened in red and protected by a varnish. The base of the pack is engraved with Sisley Paris’ logo.
TNT Group had previously worked with Sisley to produce the refillable lipstick case for the original Phyto-Rouge collection.
TNT Group is a prominent producer of zamak components and is looking to expand its business, particularly in the makeup sector to boost growth. The company has already manufactured the zamak packaging for Jimmy Choo’s newest lip gloss as part of the brand’s Seduction Collection.
Rose gold sun-safe glow
Kopari, the brand behind the broad spectrum SPF Sun Shield Body Glow, has unveiled a limited edition version with a rose gold color. It contains sustainably sourced mica and vitamin E.
The sheer, lightweight body gel SPF is packed with moisturizing oils, vitamins and ethically-sourced rose gold pearlescent minerals to give skin a sun-kissed radiance, while innovative SPF ingredients help shield from UVA and UVB rays.
Aside from being transfer proof, the product contains a blend of superfood oils – hibiscus, avocado, coconut and macadamia – antioxidants and a juicy guava mango scent. It is marketed as clean, vegan and cruelty-free, as well as fully recyclable.
