Michal Morrison’s “meta-molecule” serum debuts in biomimetic skincare category
19 Jan 2023 --- Biomimetic skincare pioneer Michal Morrison has unveiled Genesis βSTEM6 molecular serum in line with its official launch.
The science-first skincare company spearheads the biomimetic skincare technology category with the proprietary and patent-pending βSTEM6 next-gen “meta-molecule” that restores the self-rejuvenating power of skin that has diminished over time.
βSTEM6 uses biology’s inherent potential to extend cell longevity. The molecular structure of the bio-serum works with the skin’s chemistry to awaken the millions of cells responsible for healthy-looking skin.
Biomimetic studies biological substances and mechanisms to synthesize similar artificial products.
Bio-technological breakthrough
Board-certified dermatologists and president of Dermatology Consulting Services, PLLC, Dr. Zoe Draelos, conducted a formal and independent clinical study to test the product.
The study demonstrated dramatic improvements in the multiple signs of skin aging, such as facial lines, wrinkles, loss of elasticity and uneven pigmentation.
Following the eight-week study, about 92% of respondents agreed skin texture is smoother, while 80% agreed skin looks firmer, is significantly clearer, and appears more radiant, healthier and youthful.
The mechanism of action in the serum has been validated by 25 years of research in stem cell science and regenerative medicine.
Inspired by science
The company was founded by US entrepreneur Michal Ann Morrison who worked with Dr. Fuqiang Ruan, an innovative scientist with a doctorate in Synthetic Organic Chemistry to develop the molecular serum.
The Genesis βSTEM6 molecular serum is exclusively available in Michal Morrison products in a premium recyclable glass bottle and through a 60-day replenishment program.
In related news, Global Stem Cells Group unveiled a product formulated using its lyophilized exosome technology. The Cellgenic Lyophilized Exosomes are derived from human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells and include potent growth factors, peptides, coenzymes, minerals, amino acids, vitamins and UV radiation-reducing agents for skin revitalization.
Additionally, bio and cell-based tech company ExoCel Bio has been “revolutionizing” regenerative aesthetics with its all-natural Exovex serum. The serum contains purified exosomes designed to accelerate recovery time and reduce inflammation post-medical treatments.
The exosomes are produced by mesenchymal stem cells, isolated and expanded from the chorion layer of healthy, donated human placenta.
Meanwhile, plant-based alternatives to collagen, a star ingredient in ingestible beauty, gain traction with a growing need for supplements that benefit the skin from within.
VeCollal’s “identical to human type I collagen, from an amino acid profile aspect,” naturally stimulates collagen production and can be used in functional foods and supplements.
