Only Skin taps into underserved men’s skincare arena with essential products kits

14 Sep 2021 --- Men’s skincare company Only Skin is unveiling a series of kits that make skincare accessible and cost-effective for men, with the Essential Kit, Standard Kit, and Premium Kit. The range includes effective ingredients, such as niacinamide, squalene, lactic acid and peptides. 

Speaking to PersonalCareInsights, Greg Willsey, founder of Only Skin, says the brand was born from his personal need for a skincare routine that is effective and easy to work into a busy schedule. 

“We recognize skin is skin, but we developed Only Skin with men who are less experienced with skincare in mind. It reflects my own personal journey with my skin care routine and what I saw as a lack of suitable clean products marketed to men in a way that was accessible, easy to use day in and day out, and affordable,” he comments. 

He also notes that another frustration of his was the cost of similar products, while Only Skin comes at more affordable prices. 

“No BS approach” 
Only Skin says it is “reinventing skincare for men” with a hassle-free approach. The company collaborated with skincare development experts and claims to have created solutions that will deliver results within a few weeks.

The line includes ingredients, such as niacinamide, squalene, lactic acid and peptides.“Like a lot of men out there, my days are long and I wanted a way to take care of my skin that works just as hard as I do,” says Willsey.

“I won’t keep using something that doesn’t deliver real results, and I didn’t have time to research the myriad products offered by other brands to create a regimen for myself.”

Kits for convenience
The Essential Kit is for men who are new to skincare or who only want the basics. It includes Only Skin’s signature cleanser, scrub and day cream. 

The Standard Kit was created for men who want more advanced night-time skincare. It includes the brand’s cleanser, scrub, day cream and night cream. 

The Premium Kit is meant for men who are committed to their skin and enjoy skincare, and it includes a cleanser, scrub, day cream, night cream and eye serum.

The Products are only sold via the kits and include:

• Cleanser: Non-drying foaming facial wash with white willow bark and green tea extract. 
• Scrub: Powerful exfoliation with lactic acid and daemonorops draco. Day cream – lightweight plant-based moisturizer that deeply hydrates to restore and balance all skin types with squalane, shea butter, avocado oil and chamomile. 
• Night cream: A moisturizer that does it all by exfoliating and hydrating to retexturize and restore skin while you sleep, with lactic acid, creatine, aloe and chamomile.
• Eye serum: A calming and soothing, targeted treatment harnessing the power of niacinamide (vitamin B), creatine, licorice, and peptides to effectively diminish the appearance of puffiness, lines and wrinkles.
