Austrian skin care brand Ringana is expanding to the US later this year alongside plans for a US$85 million investment in Virginia. The brand, which produces small-batch, vegan cosmetics and supplements, is set to enter the US market in November 2026, reflecting heightened demand for clean beauty.
As clean beauty and ingredient-conscious consumer demands continue to rise, Ringana is also investing in a US headquarters and distribution capabilities. The company intends to establish its headquarters and a local production and distribution operation in Roanoke, Virginia, backed by a planned US$85 million investment over five years.
The project aims to support Ringana’s long-term expansion across the US market while bringing production closer to the country’s customers.
Since its launch 30 years ago, the company has grown to generate an estimated €300 million (US$342 million) in annual revenue in 2025 and operates across approximately 40 markets.
“Entering the US is a major step for our company,” says Andreas Wilfinger, co-founder of Ringana.
“We want to build a lasting presence here, and investing in local production is fundamental to that commitment. Roanoke will allow us to bring our products closer to US customers, while Austria remains the heart of our research, innovation, and product development.”
Through its planned US operations, the company will shorten delivery times for US customers and bolster its domestic supply chain efficiency. This efficiency is integral to the company’s fresh-production business model.
Ringana produces its products in small batches, emphasizes short shelf lives, and formulates without traditional preservatives. Its model focuses on freshly produced formulations, plant-based ingredients, and active ingredients.
