Vegamour partners with dietician, dermatologist and hairstylist for holistic haircare
01 Feb 2022 --- Hair wellness brand Vegamour is partnering with three leading female industry experts to improve hair wellness education by combining the brand’s product innovation strengths with diverse expert experience in the fields of dermatology and science, nutrition and hair care.
The brand has teamed up with Neera Nathan, a Harvard-trained board-certified dermatologist; Erica Zellner, a licensed dietitian nutritionist and Ashley Streicher, a celebrity hairstylist and co-owner of beauty studio Striiike.
“By joining forces with these experts, we continue to raise awareness of the importance of ensuring not only that the products we choose to put onto and into our bodies are clean and healthy, but also the key role that lifestyle – diet, sleep, stress, emotional and mental health – contribute to overall hair health,” says Dan Hodgdon, co-founder and CEO, Vegamour.
The brand engages its consumers with the concept that nutrition, physical health, mental health and emotional well-being are just as important to hair health and appearance as topical hair care products.
Following their previous retail partnership, Jennifer Lucchese, VP of haircare merchandising at Sephora, says, “With its focus on holistic hair health, Vegamour helps clients address the underlying causes of hair thinning and offers clinically proven formulas to deliver results.
“We look forward to the continued growth of this brand and supporting the overall exciting, emerging category of hair wellness.”
Partnering for holistic hair health
The strategic partnership will assist consumers in gaining access to expert-backed hair wellness education, information, tools and resources across brand channels.
As a board-certified dermatologist, Nathan learned from international leaders in hair loss, aesthetics, laser medicine, and medical dermatology. She focuses on the science behind hair and skin health, medical blogging and patient advocacy.
Meanwhile, certified nutrition specialist Zellner focuses on wellness in all aspects of life, including mind, body, and spirit.
Lastly, Streicher as a hairstylist and beauty studio owner has years of training under some of the top experts and brands in the industry, including Edward Tricomi, Bumble and Bumble, and Toni & Guy.
Considering the background of the three, the partnership will establish a holistic approach toward hair health.
According to Vegamour, their products are clinically-tested and promote healthy-looking hair through hair and scalp wellness by combining sustainably harvested, plant-based actives with the latest developments in molecular research.
Yesterday, Arcaea and Olaplex partnered to use expressive biology to develop new ingredients and programs for hair and scalp health.
