So can you walk me through what you are showcasing here at In Cosmetics?
Cosmetics this year, Glita is showcasing one of its flagship collagen peptide brands, Verisol.
Verisol is a bioactive collagen peptide specifically designed for beauty from within applications, certainly for skin, hair, and nails.
And how does Vasal differentiate itself in the growing beauty from within category?
So in the space of beauty from within, collagen peptides are certainly a prevalent and trending ingredient.
However, not all collagen peptides are created equally.
While all of them are natural proteins that are delivering amino acids to the body, Verisol is something different in that it has a unique peptide finger.
That has been specifically designed to signal the cells of the skin, the fibroblasts, to produce more collagen.
Now upon production of more collagen, right, we get the benefits from that.
We see reduced wrinkles, improved elasticity, increased hydration, and overall improvement to the skin surface structure, as as benefits for hair thickness, as as for stronger and less brittle nails.
And what consumer trends are you are driving interest in collagen peptides for skin, hair, and nails in cosmetics this year?
Right, so there are many consumer trends that are driving growth in the beauty from within space, particularly for collagen, and I think what we're seeing globally is the shift away from vanity and more focused on overall health and -being, where how we look and how we feel that we look is certainly an indicator of overall health, and I think we'll continue to see that trend grow.
And how can brands integrate Verisol into personal care and nutricosmetic products to stand out in a crowded market?
So the beauty, pun intended, of Verisol is that it lends itself very to different application formats, whether you're interested in delivering a powder format or a ready to drink.
Beverage or concentrated beverage or capsule or tablet or even gummy, we see Verisol being included in novel foods too like chocolates or even wine, coffees, teas, so much more.
So I think in order for a brand owner to stand out, number one, it's choosing the right collagen peptide for your greedy.
Which we believe Verisol is, and then it's taking advantage of some of that co-branding.
So Glita with Verisol offers a trademark license agreement program and hereby brand owners can get the benefit of having that Verisol name on their package, which again is the number one collagen peptide in the space of you.
And what role does scientific evidence play in Glita's approach to ingredients like bioactive collagen, and how important is this for brand trust?
So scientific foundation is extremely important to Glita.
I say it definitely is part of our DNA before we go to market with an ingredient that scientific substantiation, that positive clinical validation is a requirement.
So Verisol to date has.
Published clinical trials, high level peer reviewed, double blind placebo controlled, all the good stuff that that the industry needs to see from clinical studies.
We have 7 of those published studies.
There are more in the submission pipeline, and there are more studies ongoing as we speak, with even more in the pipeline.
So again, science, that scientific foundation is absolutely essential for Glita's ingredients and especially for Verisol.
And then beyond Verisol, what other innovations or applications from Gillita do you see shaping the future of beauty from within?
That's a great question.
So Gillita has a full portfolio of bioactive collagen peptides.
Of course, Verisol is specifically for beauty.
However, within our portfolio, we also have unique peptides that are designed for body composition, for example, healthy aging, so joint health, bone health, that mobility.
Integrity, strength, and I think all of those things are absolutely connected to the beauty from within space.
If I care about my mobility, if I care about healthy aging, if I care about the composition and tone of my body, that also is an indicator of beauty.
So I think we're gonna see an intersection of many different, individual categories coming to cross over with beauty.
