“Bottled homage”: Supermodel Iman unveils Love Memoir fragrance honoring David Bowie romance

19 Nov 2021 --- Supermodel and entrepreneur Iman Abdulmajid and livestream shopping platform HSN have partnered to launch Iman’s debut fragrance, Love Memoir. The fragrance scent is a tribute to her romance with her husband, pop legend David Bowie, and an “intimate reflection” of their tender relationship.

The fragrance is a composition of a rich rose blend with creamy, sensual vanilla; fresh, citrusy bergamot, infusing an energetic note; and woodsy vetiver and earthy blackcurrant for smoky layers. It is a “bottled homage” to the mutual devotion of the couple.

“Memories are like memoirs: they are pressed between the pages of our hearts and minds,” says Abdulmajid. “Love Memoir is a fitting tribute to the legacy that only memory can create. I hope you enjoy your love memories and create new ones.”

The fragrance was developed in a multi-year partnership with brand strategy and product development company Batallure Beauty.

Love Memoir is a fragrance designed to linger and a fitting tribute to the legacy that only memory can create.

The bottle design
The signature fragrance is encapsulated in a bottle, inspired by the cairns throughout the couple’s upstate New York retreat.

Its bottle embodies an organic, rounded silhouette reminiscent of the balance of overlapping stones “similar in strength and unity to mutual, indestructible love.”

Visions of unforgettable sunsets informed the amber hue, while the hammered gold cap is a nod to the couple’s global heritage and travels.

Iman will appear on HSN’s live streaming platforms to introduce Love Memoir and share the personal journey that informed the fragrance.

Among other recent celebrity perfume launches, Billie Eilish debuted her fragrance, aptly named Eilish, and branded as a “warm and fuzzy” Amber Gourmand scent.
