Charlotte Tilbury releases Magic Water Cream leveraging hydration-locking tech
01 Sep 2023 --- Charlotte Tilbury Beauty has launched Charlotte’s Magic Water Cream. The Magic Water Cream is the latest addition to the brand’s first product ever launched, Charlotte’s Magic Cream.
The new cream is formulated as a lightweight, fragrance-free gel moisturizer. Charlotte’s Magic Water Cream “drenches” and “revives” the skin like a water cream. Users can reportedly see long-term benefits in 28 days and immediate results in 28 seconds.
Furthermore, Tilbury says that “every skin type experiences dehydration.” She continues that the Magic Cream is her skin care secret for instant hydration.
The gel formula was made to glide onto the face to deliver a “surge” of hydrating skin benefits. The cream is said to have long-lasting moisture to revive the skin’s appearance and create a “dewy-looking, glass-like glow.”
Creating water pathways
The cream features Waterlocking Fusion Technology, a hydration complex that boosts aquaporin production to give the skin “100-hour hydration.” Aquaporins are proteins that enable the transfer of water between cells.
The technology enables the moisturizer to instantly quench and help maintain moisture levels throughout the day.
Charlotte’s Magic Water Cream was specifically formulated to be fragrance-free.The formulation also includes niacinamide, a versatile ingredient that is said to brighten the look of the face, reduce redness, refine the appearance of pores and help balance the overall complexion. The biopeptide complex improves skin tone and texture for a smoother, more even-looking complexion.
Charlotte Tilbury Beauty explains that the feather-light gel cream has a comfortable, silky-smooth, fragrance-free formula.
Tilbury says that while subtle fragrance can make skin care feel luxurious to apply and create that spa-quality experience, some people are sensitive to fragrance in their skin care. “I wanted to create a fragrance-free option for everyone,” the founder asserts.
It’s formulated to suit every skin type, including oily and combination skin types that experience excess oil production.

Charlotte Tilbury Beauty has been rolling out new products this summer. The brand released an oxygenating rescue essence with the endearing name Charlotte’s Magic Hydrator Mist, designed to be part of the skin care routine. The mist provides an immediate hydration boost with the rejuvenation properties of an oxygen facial and gives an instant “dewy” glow.
In the early summer, the brand debuted its Airbrush Flawless Lip Blur, designed as a “matte-meets-moisture” liquid lipstick. The product drew inspiration from the brand’s smoothing, blurring effects of its AIRBrush franchise.
The lip blur comes in eight shades, including true nudes, nude pinks, berry pinks and ruby reds in warm and cool-toned options. Charlotte Tilbury collaborated with supermodel Bella Hadid as the face of its new collection.
