Spectra Packaging provides Floral Street with prevented ocean plastic fragrance bottles
Spectra Packaging has supplied Floral Street, a UK-based fragrance company, with a prevented ocean plastic (POP) and post-consumer recycled (PCR) bottle for its Perfume Mist range.
Spectra’s 125 mL Non-Aerosol Tubular is compatible with a range of fine mist applications. It is paired with the personal care packaging company Non-Aerosol Overcap, which features 35% PCR content and is available in pink, yellow, turquoise, and blue.
Dan Smith, business development manager at Spectra, says: “Floral Street is known for its strong stance on sustainable beauty. We were delighted to support its vision with a fully recyclable, low-impact solution made from ocean-bound recycled plastic.”
“The color-matching of four unique caps was a rewarding challenge, and the final result is both functional and visually striking.”
The bottle is translucent, complementing the colorful caps which were designed to meet brand guidelines while maintaining quality and recyclability.
POP bottles
Spectra Packaging POP solutions are made from plastic pollution collected from coastal areas. Many personal care brands have adopted sustainable packaging solutions for their products as consumers demand environmentally conscious packaging solutions.
Recently, Spectra supplied Bumboo with reusable bottles and provided Favorite Family with its 200 mL Tubular bottle paired with the Disc-Top closure for its Prebiotic Body Wash — all of which are made from POP and PCR materials.
