18 Mar 2022 --- Beauty and cosmetic giant Shiseido has signed a multi-year licensing agreement with “3DExperience” manufacturing company Dassault Systèmes to implement its efficient production system at global manufacturing sites.
The agreement comes in response to the consumer trend for enhanced skincare and wellness that arose during the COVID-19 pandemic. Shiseido hopes efficient production will drive brand loyalty.
“The pandemic has shown us that consumers prioritize their skincare and wellness routines. By 2030, we want to become a global leader as a personal beauty and wellness company, helping people realize their unique beauty and wellness throughout their lives,” says Atsunori Takano, executive officer, CITO at Shiseido.
“We expect that Dassault Systèmes’ leading position in the cosmetics sector and the value its technology can bring to our manufacturing will bolster our growth strategy.”
