Technology-driven cross-industry digital solutions: Coralai launches as the “first skincare retail ecosystem”
10 Oct 2022 --- Coralai, built in partnership between Corpus Group, Revieve and Clientela, is launching as the “first multi-brand digital skincare retailer.” The platform utilizes Skin Coach, Revieve’s latest development in the US that pairs shoppers with products, routines, services and professionals through computer vision, artificial intelligence (AI) and smart booking for in-person and virtual video appointments.
The partnership brings together Coralai’s skincare retail ecosystem, Revieve’s market-leading AI Skin Coach experience and Clientela’s omnichannel, customer relationship management and client solutions.
“Our partnership with Clientela and Coralai empowers clients with quantitative data to sort the optimal products and services, which are unique to the needs of their skin and personal well-being,” says Sampo Parkkinen, CEO at Revieve.
Through this collaborative work, the three companies are transforming the skin and wellness category by offering personalized solutions, easy access to professionals and the ability to track changes in the skin over time.
Customers can receive a personalized recommendation within five steps, starting with a skin scan. Computer vision technology captures an image of their face, followed by AI scanning the photograph in real-time. Customers then receive a personalized skin diagnostic report and a curated list of product recommendations.
Products, routines and services are securely recorded in a database, allowing individuals to see changes in their skin over time and adjust their practices accordingly to meet their individual skincare needs and goals.
“Personalization and the ability to build consumer relationships are vital as brands and shoppers continue to navigate the digital space,” says Lorenzo Benazzo, CEO at Clientela.
“Clientela’s Relational Shopping platform offers digital services designed to connect clients and prospects to retail experts globally,” while the “Retail Assistant solution is designed to provide retail teams with state-of-the-art Clienteling, task-management and multi-channel communications designed to drive business while saving time.”
Revieve describes Coralai as one of the first retailers in the industry to make skin-tracking technology widely available.
“Coralai is a next-generation retail platform designed for today’s consumers who want access to their data and transparency around the effects of products, services and environmental factors on their skin and overall well-being,” says the company.
Technology at the fore

The technology driven beauty brand also released its Complete Metaverse Playbook for Beauty Brands and Retailers to take full advantage of new prospects in these virtual spaces. The report outlines the future of the metaverse and discusses how personal care companies should navigate it.
Additionally, JCPenney, in partnership with Revieve, unveiled an AI-powered skincare advisor experience and realistic AR-powered makeup try-on capabilities to become a “one-stop shop” that celebrates customers’ individual, authentic beauty.
