In-cosmetics Global 2026: Givaudan demonstrates AI skin tech and PrimalHyal NeuroYouth

Catherine Zanchetta, innovation and strategy manager at Givaudan Active Beauty, shared insights on how AI enhances ingredient efficacy communication. She walked us through Givaudan's AI-powered experiences at In-cosmetics, including personalized features and a tool that compares skin health with and without Givaudan's solutions. Zanchetta also introduced PrimalHyal NeuroYouth, a hyaluronic-acid and amino-acid complex targeting neuro-skin aging to rejuvenate sensory function and restore youthful skin.

So how does Givein Active Beauty use AI to communicate ingredient efficacy?

So, I must mention that at Gin we monitor the evolution of the artificial intelligence, and we strongly believe in its value for both our customers.

And consumers, and this is why this year we have partnered with AI, which is an awarded company in the field of artificial intelligence, and we have designed with them two immersive experiences for our customers during the show.

And can you tell us more about the consumer AI powered experiences you have here at In Cosmetics?

And the first one features personalization.

So can you expand on this?

Sure, so the first one is about personalization and actually your skin will be a storyteller.

So we're going to take a photo of you and you will get a personalized recommendation based on Givaudin active beauty ingredients.

And so we can see here that you have done analysis of plenty of different skin parameters, and at the end, you will get a personalized recommendation with Ganxi beauty ingredients.

And the second experience, can you tell me a little bit about it?

Sure, so the second experience is this one, is skin GPT.

So it is not about experiencing your skin today, it is about experiencing your skin in 3 months, 5 years, and 10 years.

And so with the algorithm you will be able to see your skin over time with and without our new active ingredient.

And to conclude, can you tell me about Primohal Neuro Youth, the ingredient you're debuting at in cosmetics?

Sure, so if I have to summarize the ingredients in one sentence, I would say that these ingredient allows consumers to leave everything more intensively.

So the ingredient has an IGF-like activity.

So basically it will help to recover a sense of touch, but also to reverse aging, and everything we do this year is about the science of reconnection and how we can bring solutions to consumers to reconnect with the world, but also with their inner selves.
