Maison Francis Kurkdjian spotlights flurry of launches across body oil, lotion, soap and luxury candle categories

28 Sep 2023 --- Fragrance house Maison Francis Kurkdjian has unveiled a host of personal care products inspired by its fragrances.

The company has also released Scented Soaps, a new category featuring three round soaps: Aqua Vitae Cologne forte, Aqua Celestia Cologne forte and Aqua Media Cologne forte.

The new body oils are formulated with a lilac extract that can be applied to the hair for softness and perfume. They contain sweet almonds, macadamia, virgin argan and apricot kernel oils. The bottles can be personalized with a message for an extra fee.

The brand has also launched body lotions made with Shea butter and Camellia oil for skin moisturization to match the oils. Further to add to the collection, it has created matching Hand & Body cleansing gel, leaving the skin “intensely perfumed.”

The Baccarat Rouge 540 and Oud Satin Mood fragrances are now available as 70 ml body oils, lotions and hand or body washes. Oud Satin mood also comes as a new scented hair mist.Es Cap candle.

“Baccarat Rouge 540 lays on the skin like an amber floral and woody breeze. The aerial notes of jasmine and the radiance of saffron carry mineral facets of ambergris and woody tones of freshly cut cedar wood,” describes the brand. 

“Transported by the finesse of the violet accord, the oud wood from Laos bows to the essence of rose from Bulgaria and rose absolute from Turkey to blend into the rich vanilla amber accord. Oud Satin Mood scented oil, held in the House’s iconic glass bottle.”

The other oil in the collection is 724, which contains sandalwood, aldehydes, bergamot from Calabria, white flowers, Egyptian jasmine and musks. Aqua Universalis contains musks, bergamot from Calabria, white flowers and lemon from Italy. 

Lastly, À la rose comprises musks, sweet pea, Centifolia rose, Damascena Rose and violet.

Fresh soaps
The fragrance of Aqua Vitae Cologne forte soap is “tinged with the fruity notes of blackcurrant, mimosa, and jasmine, before gradually melting into the mellowness of a fruity musky accord.” It also enriches the skin with coconut oil. Olfactory notes feature mimosa from Provence, France; musks; fresh bergamot from Calabria; Blackcurrant buds from Burgundy and Jasmine from Egypt.Body oils.

“Mandarin gives bright freshness to the bergamot, leading to a luminous, citrusy and sunny floral scent,” the brand describes Aqua Vitae Cologne forte soap. Olfactory notes are clean musk, fresh bergamot from Calabria and mandarin from Sicily, Italy.

Lastly, Aqua Media Cologne forte soap consists of green notes, a blend of bergamot, verbena and sweet fennel. It has a citrus verbena accord, aniseed note, bergamot from Calabria, musks and floral hedione.

Atmospheric candle
Es Cap is the latest addition to the “Home Sweet Home” scented candle collection, with a 55-hour burning capacity. It has a dry wood accord paired with fig leaf and cedarwood oil. Francis Kurkdjian aims to capture the atmosphere of a refurbished barn.

“The Es Cap Maison Francis Kurkdjian scented candle is presented in a porcelain jar from Limoges where the inside color is applied by hand. The French plant and mineral wax holds a braided cotton wick to preserve the candle’s olfactory quality,” shares the brand.

In related news, Dior unveiled a new fragrance within its classic J’adore Dior perfume line, branded J’adore L’Or, created by Francis Kurkdjian.
