US-based esthetician Mindi Walters has launched an overnight system designed specifically for the neck and chest — two areas that she believes are often overlooked in the skin care space, but show some of the earliest signs of aging. The beauty sleep duo from Mindi Walters Skincare is designed to hydrate, smooth, and help prevent chest creases caused by side sleeping.
The Snow Melt Overnight Mask, which retails for US$60, is a fragrance-free overnight treatment formulated for the neck and chest.
Powered by snow mushroom, squalane, niacinamide, and soothing aloe, the lightweight treatment deeply hydrates, plumps, and supports the skin barrier during sleep. It promises to deliver smoother, more supple skin by morning without transferring to sheets or pajamas.
Moreover, the Crease Release Sleep Bra (US$58) claims to be a “skin-first sleep essential.” Made with ultra-soft, breathable fabric, the lightweight sleep bra gently stabilizes the chest overnight to help prevent creasing caused by side sleeping and compression. It was designed with skin health in mind — rather than lingerie — and helps protect one of the most delicate and often forgotten skin care areas.

Why are these areas so susceptible to signs of aging, and why is it important to address them with specialized products?
Walters: The neck and chest have fewer oil glands, the skin is thinner, and collagen production is lower, so it’s important to use products that target these specific concerns. The Snow Melt Overnight Mask is powered by snow mushroom, which is an extremely hydrating ingredient. It’s perfect for replenishing that area with the moisture it needs. It’s always best to practice preventive care, and I encourage everyone to start paying attention to those areas.
How does the Snow Melt Overnight Mask specifically cater to the delicate skin on the neck and chest compared to standard face masks?
Treatment + prevention: Mindi Walters Skincare launched a two-step system that hydrates skin while helping prevent compression creases.Walters: The Snow Mushroom in the Snow Melt Overnight Mask is especially useful here because it functions as a powerful humectant, attracting and holding water in the skin to keep it plump and hydrated. It can hold up to 500 times its weight in water, helping restore moisture to delicate skin. Its smaller molecules can penetrate more deeply than those of some traditional hydrators, improving hydration in fragile areas. This makes it ideal for the neck and chest area.
What are the unique benefits of each ingredient in the Snow Melt Overnight Mask, especially in terms of supporting hydration, plumping, and skin barrier repair overnight?
Walters: Snow Mushroom is one of the most powerful natural humectants used in skin care. It holds hundreds of times its weight in water, pulling moisture into the skin. Squalane closely mimics the natural oils your skin produces. It locks hydration into the skin after humectants (like the Snow Mushroom) pull moisture in. Niacinamide is one of the most widely respected dermatological ingredients for strengthening skin and improving tone and texture. It boosts ceramide production, which reinforces the skin barrier. Aloe is known for its soothing and calming properties. It is the perfect complementary ingredient for the neck and chest, given the area’s delicacy.
Can you explain how the Crease Release Sleep Bra prevents neck and chest creases, particularly for side sleepers?
Walters: The Crease Release Sleep Bra targets the real cause of chest wrinkles for side sleepers: constant compression and friction in that area while sleeping. It offers comfortable support to take pressure off the area and help prevent creases in crease-prone areas.
What are the key benefits of using the Bedtime Bundle? How does the combination of the mask and sleep bra enhance the overall results?
Walters: The Bedtime Bundle works as a system because it addresses both sides of chest aging simultaneously. The Snow Melt Overnight Mask deeply hydrates and supports the skin barrier while you sleep, while the Crease Release Sleep Bra helps prevent the mechanical folding that causes sleep creases — especially for side sleepers. Together, they hydrate, protect, and stabilize the skin overnight for better long-term results.
What challenges occurred when creating products specifically for the neck and chest, and how do these products overcome challenges in terms of texture, efficacy, and usability?
Walters: My biggest challenge was finding the right ingredients that would absorb deeply into that area. My main priority with the formulation was that it absorbed quickly and effectively into the skin
Mindi Walters is the founder of Mindi Walters Skincare and a celebrity esthetician based in the US. so that it would not be uncomfortable to then put on the Crease Release Sleep Bra. I went through several different formulations and two and a half years of back-and-forth with my lab to come up with what I believe is just right.
Can you share insights on the broader trend in skin care “beyond the face” — focusing on other neglected areas such as hands, décolletage, and the back?
Walters: I do believe skin care is trending toward recognizing not just our faces but all the other important details that contribute to our overall skin health. For some time now, the neck has been getting more attention. I’ve been talking to my clients for years now about the neck, chest, hands, back, and knees. These are all things that come into sharper focus as we get older, but it’s always easier to start taking care of them when you’re younger, in a preventive way.
What do you think the demand for neck and chest-specific products signals about the future of skin care, particularly in the realm of preventative beauty?
Walters: I think it’s signaling that preventative skin care is becoming the standard. Customers are becoming very savvy about preventing problems before they occur. It’s a very exciting time in skin care.
