Univar Solutions partners with Best Value Chem to boost UV protection in Brazil

Univar Solutions Brazil has announced that its Ingredients + Specialties division from Univar Solutions has expanded its personal care portfolio through an exclusive distribution partnership with Best Value Chem.

According to the Univar subsidiary, it will now offer the world’s third-largest sunscreen market access to Best Value Chem’s ingredients. Univar Solutions Brazil adds products such as BVSUN — a UV defense — to its sun protection solutions. 

“UV protection is not a trend, it’s a necessity,” says James Peterson, global VP of Care for Univar Solutions. 

The company will support facial and body formulations across the region.

Univar says Brazil has a “thriving personal care industry and sun care market.” The Brazilian beauty market ranks fifth worldwide.
