R.E.M. Beauty, founded by singer and actress Ariana Grande, announced a strategic investment led by Sandbridge Capital, a consumer-focused private investment firm. The funds will be directed toward innovation, talent acquisition and geographic expansion. The investment also included participation from Strand Equity and long-term Grande collaborators HYBE America, Live Nation Entertainment and Universal Music Group. R.E.M. beauty is currently distributed exclusively at Ulta Beauty in the US, Sephora across Europe, and Selfridges in the UK. The brand will continue to focus on its core markets, with further expansion plans to be announced.
Colorescience, a specialty skincare company, launched a new sun care innovation, Total Protection No-Show Mineral SPF 50 Sunscreen. This all-mineral sunscreen dispenses white, then dries completely sheer, leaving skin hydrated and natural-looking. The “first of its kind” patent-pending non-nano zinc oxide combines careful control over particle size distribution with superior stabilization of those particles, made possible by a unique coating that helps to enhance the SPF’s dispersion performance. The result is an all-mineral, un-tinted sunscreen that leaves no white cast for a wide range of skin types and tones. This ultra-lightweight formula also provides hydration that leaves skin feeling soft while proprietary EnviroScreen Technology provides total protection from environmental aggressors such as UVA or UVB, pollution, blue light and infrared radiation.
Peace Out Skincare, manufacturer of the patented OTC Acne and Day Dot pimple patches, has the Vitamin C Glow stick. As a packed 6% C complex blend, the gentle solid serum balm contains four types of vitamin C, peptides and caffeine that instantly brightens the skin around the eyes. The product is designed to enhance skin glow while softening the look of fine lines and wrinkles, targeting dull textured skin to reveal a brighter, smoother-looking complexion. Vitamin C Glow Stick is recommended for all day use. A clean, cruelty-free, vegan, and gluten-free product, the Vitamin C Glow Stick’s star ingredients include four types of vitamin C: antioxidant, co-enzyme for collagen synthesis, and a brightening agent formula containing two stable derivatives; peptides that nourish the skin and slow the loss of collagen; caffeine which reduces the appearance of puffiness and swelling by activating the skin's metabolism; squalane and strawberry oil for hydration; and extra-fine gold color that brightens through iridescent, reflective color play.

Cosrx hosted a livestream shopping event in collaboration with Ulta on May 25. The event showcased the skin care brand’s top-selling items, including the Vitamin E Vitalizing Sunscreen SPF 50+ and The Vitamin C 23 Serum. Among the main highlights of the event was the discussion on the powerful combination of vitamin C and sunscreen in optimizing sun protection. Scientific studies have demonstrated that applying an antioxidant like The Vitamin C 23 serum before sunscreen can enhance the effectiveness of SPF by neutralizing free radicals caused by sun exposure and environmental pollutants. Dermatologists have also highlighted the importance of combining vitamin C with broad-spectrum sunscreens that offer comprehensive protection against UVA & UVB rays.
TikTok-viral dry shampoo brand Colab is launching a media campaign, celebrating confidence. In a study focusing on the link between bad hair days and self-confidence, Colab discovered that 79% of people felt a bad hair day impacted their confidence with excess grease being the number one reason stated for this. Partnering with producer, actor and choreographer Glen "Pulse" Murphy, Colab has created an original song for the campaign and is encouraging users to “shake, spray and show” to be in with a chance of winning a year’s supply of Colab Dry Shampoo.
