Two derma-cosmetics brands, Neutrogena and Mediheal, have made product-release moves this week. Neutrogena has launched Evenly Clear, a six-piece adult acne collection, while South Korean brand Mediheal has debuted its PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) skin care collection in the US by expanding its Ulta offerings.
Both companies appeal to consumers seeking clinically backed products with high efficacy.
Neutrogena launches Evenly Clear
Neutrogena’s Evenly Clear collection, formulated specifically to target the unique needs of adults with acne, comprises six products that target the full life cycle of acne — from breakouts to post-acne marks.
The collection centralizes around the idea that acne is not solely a teenager’s issue. According to Neutrogena, it remains the top skin concern for adults under 40. The second most common concern for the demographic is post-acne marks, which are also targeted by the collection.

Stress, hormones, and the pace of modern lifestyles are cited as the circumstances that aggravate adult acne and differentiate it from that of teens.
The collection prioritizes scientific backing and was developed in collaboration with Global Innovation Partners, Dr. Dhaval Bhanusali, and Dr. Muneeb Shah.
“The Evenly Clear collection reflects Neutrogena Brand’s collaboration‑driven innovation model, integrating dermatology, clinical testing, ingredient science, and consumer insights from the earliest stages of development,” says Bhanusali.
Shah adds that the collaborators wanted to make treating acne as an adult easy to understand and fit into busy routines. He highlights the intentions of functionality behind the collection.
Chris Riat, global brand lead for Neutrogena, says that the collection aims to provide “clinically proven solutions that simultaneously treat active acne and visibly fade the look of post‑acne hyperpigmentation adults struggle with most [...] at an accessible price point.”
The collection features a cleanser, a gel moisturizer, a cleansing mask, an exfoliant, a facial retinoid, and a clarifying spray. The products are powered by staple ingredients for blemish-prone skin: salicylic acid, polyhydroxy acids, N-acetyl glucosamine, benzoyl peroxide, and hypochlorous acid.
The line’s branding is supported by actress Joey King, who serves as Evenly Clear’s global brand ambassador. The choice to feature the 26-year-old actress in its campaign aims to help the brand “connect with consumers in an authentic, relatable way,” says Riat.
Mediheal implements PDRN
Vegan PDRN aims to boost absorption and efficacy.
Starting yesterday, Mediheal is rolling out its PRDN collection at over 1,400 Ulta Beauty locations across the US. The collection features the PDRN Lifting Pad, PDRN Lifting Serum, and Rose PDRN Essential Sheet Mask, offering lifting and pore-tightening solutions.
While PDRN products are typically derived from salmon DNA, Mediheal’s collection is formulated with rose-based vegan PDRN. Rose-based PDRN has a smaller molecular structure, enabling more efficacious skin absorption in formulations.
Mediheal reports that it holds the number one ranking on Olive Young, the leading K-beauty online retailer, as the best-selling skin care brand outperforming over 3,000 competitors. According to the company, its new PRDN collection features as one of the brand’s high-performing product lines, and the rollout choice indicates acceleration in Mediheal’s global expansion.
The move aligns with the current trend of K-beauty integration into US markets.
“US consumers are increasingly looking beyond brand names and gravitating toward high-performance skin care that delivers tangible results — particularly in strengthening the skin barrier and preventing signs of aging,” says a Mediheal representative.
