Angie Everhart’s Diya Beauty and Wellness acquires WG Group brands
08 Dec 2023 --- Actress Angie Everhart’s brand, Diya Beauty and Wellness, acquires WG Group’s brand portfolio, which includes Oralgen NuPearl, BareOrganics, Probiogen and the exclusive North American licensing rights for Foligain.
The companies in the personal care sector include Orlagen NuPearl and its teeth whitening system, supplements manufacturer Probiogen and Foligain, which makes products for thinning hair.
President of Diya Beauty and Wellness, Renee Niles, says: “We have always believed that organic and natural products should be affordable for all and strive to make a difference in people’s lives, one product at a time.”
“Diya will continue this mission and the growth of these well-established brands, meeting and exceeding our customer demands as an industry leader in health and wellness. We can’t wait to bring our new product offerings and customized retail programs to market.”
Moving forward
Niles was the former executive vice president of WR Group. She was first introduced to WRG products as a spokesperson for Oralgen NuPearl and helped create Diya Beauty and Wellness as a conglomerate, acquiring the health and wellness brands while retaining WRG’s executive, operations and sales force teams.
A portion of the profits from the company’s organic product lines will be donated to non-profit organizations in the regions from which their raw materials are sourced.
“I am immensely excited to be leading such an outstanding team and organization. As a female-owned company, we will be sharply committed to embarking upon innovative initiatives that will contribute to the resources integral to our exceptional product lines,” concludes Everhart.
Products from Diya’s portfolio, such as bath salts and body oils, are available at Whole Foods, Walmart, Sprouts, HEB, Kroger, Wegmans, Meijer, Kehe, United Natural Foods and Palko.
