BeautyHealth collaborates with Organicell to utilize regenerative technology for skin aging and inflammation
15 Sep 2022 --- BeautyHealth partnered with biotech company Organicell to co-create a “first-to-market” exosome booster that will address signs of aging and inflammation in the skin. The booster will leverage novel exosome technology based on regenerative medical therapies and, once developed, will be available as a customized treatment addition for BeautyHealth’s flagship brand, Hydrafacial.
“This partnership builds on our lineup of boosters and is the perfect example of the power of co-creation in our R&D model, which gives us access to the most novel technologies and formulas and translates them to market on an accelerated timetable,” says Andrew Stanleick, president and CEO at BeautyHealth.
The collaboration marks an advancement in Hydrafacial’s booster strategy, centered around partnerships and co-creation. Hydrafacial’s new exosome booster will be available early next year.
Hydrafacial has a lineup of 20 boosters, the majority co-created with fellow skincare brands such as Murad, ZO and JLo Beauty.
Exosomes are small membrane vesicles that are among the most productive and conducive to wound healing and counter inflammation.
These benefits will help treat the skin and address signs of aging when delivered as a booster through Hydrafacial’s delivery system.
The exosomes in Organicell’s technology contain over 300 cytokines, chemokines and growth factors harvested under cGMP conditions, allowing Hydrafacial to put billions of exosomes in each booster vial. Within the booster, they will promote cellular communication, repair and regeneration to address signs of aging and inflammation.
Other co-creations
In May, Jennifer Lopez’ JLo Beauty and The Beauty Health Company partnered to introduce the Hydrafacial x JLo Beauty Booster, targeting healthy-looking, glowing and supple skin featuring a unique combination of potent ingredients including a tri-fermented essence, super antioxidants and niacinamide.
The Hydrafacial x JLo Beauty Booster derives primary ingredients from three “unique” sources: olive leaf extract, fermented adaptogens and hygroplex HHG.
Additionally, in April, amid the rise in digital beauty and personalized solutions, Beauty Health released a digitally connected and improved version of its HydraFacial Syndeo delivery system for skincare that allows aestheticians to conduct other services using professional-strength therapeutic light energy in an efficient, hands-free application.
The new HydraFacial Delivery System collects data through its usage, which allows the company to more efficiently evaluate customer behavior and assist providers in better understanding their clients’ demands.
