DefenAge unveils “first anti-aging” hand & body cream with defensin-molecules
02 Sep 2021 --- DefenAge Skincare has launched its 10 Luxe Hand & Body Cream, infused with defensin- molecules, the anti-aging skincare tech brand’s exclusive ingredient. The hand and body cream is designed to deliver the skin elasticity-enhancing molecules from the neck down in a multi-functional manner.
In addition to inducing skin barrier repair and hydration, the product enhances visible firmness and addresses crepey skin. It also boosts long-lasting hydration and radiance, while improving the look, softness and textural feel of the skin on the elbows, knees and hands.
“This is the first-ever body cream that contains defensin-molecules. It encompasses the seven-year knowledge and research collected on the clinical performance of defensins,” says Nikolay Turovets, CEO of DefenAge.
“Extended research proved that defensin-molecules naturally awaken dormant skin cells and ‘spark’ a targeted, wound-healing regenerative response to produce new skin and deliver a treatment-caliber of cosmetic results with topicals alone,” he highlights.
“This is the only known and proven mechanism to create young skin via activating a dormant resource in your own body.”
Results without the stickiness
The 10 Luxe Hand & Body Cream also pairs well with body contouring procedures and skin rejuvenation treatments. It is designed to absorb quickly without being sticky or tacky.
The product is formulated with enhanced clean beauty and safety standards in mind, and complies with DefenAge’s ban on any human- or animal-derived ingredients, cells or their parts, or media collected from living cells.
The naturality movement has seen numerous brands elevate their visibility by leaning into cleaner formulations. Tapping into this trend, Coty recently announced the relaunch of Kylie Cosmetics with new and improved clean and vegan formulas, along with refreshed packaging.
The future of aesthetics is regenerative
Dermatologist Dr. Shino Bay Aguilera was one of the first physicians in the US who tested the new 10 Luxe Hand & Body Cream.
“The future of aesthetics is regenerative medicine and this includes new advances in skincare products,” he remarks.
“DefenAge’s new body cream reprograms your dormant cells to create new skin cells from head to toe.”
Among other healthy aging launches, Givaudan Active Beauty recently unveiled Zanthalene, a scalable natural active ingredient, derived from Sichuan pepper. Mibelle Biochemistry also introduced MossCellTec Aloe, a wrinkles-reducing ingredient from biotechnologically produced moss that improves cell-to-cell communication via connexin channels.
As the beauty-from-within trend accelerates, Ajinomoto Health & Nutrition’s Indigo Marine Collagen was recently made available in three new flavors – Raspberry Lime, Blueberry Acai, Dragon Fruit – as well as a travel-size format for convenience.
