Givaudan has deepened its footprint in Turkey through an enhanced office space in Istanbul, responding to the rising fragrance demand in the country.
The expanded office bolsters Givaudan’s creative and technical fragrance capacity in “one of the most dynamic and promising markets,” according to the company. It also heightens its ability to flexibly and effectively deliver solutions tailored to local and regional customers.
“Turkey has long been a source of inspiration in perfumery, where tradition and innovation blend beautifully. By expanding our footprint here, we are not only celebrating this heritage but also enhancing our ability to co-create with customers,” says Felix Mayr-Harting, global head of consumer products of Fragrance and Beauty at Givaudan.
The office features an application lab to offer more efficient and personalized solutions to Givaudan’s customers. There is also a drying area alongside the existing washing room.
The space includes a designated social and sensory area aimed at fostering immersive sensory sessions, inspiring creative marketing plans, and cultivating co-creation initiatives.
Broader fragrance moves
The expanded Istanbul office supports Givaudan’s creative and technical growth.
Givaudan’s expansion is part of the ingredient company’s local and regional strategy by investing in technical skills to strengthen development across the segment. The new office will act as a creative and commercial hub for Givaudan’s Fragrance and Beauty activities.
“This investment demonstrates our confidence in the Turkish market growth potential and our commitment to developing meaningful partnerships with local and regional brands,” says Kaspar Probst, regional head of consumer products for Europe, Fragrance and Beauty, Givaudan.
Strengthening our presence here will allow us to respond more quickly to consumer trends and foster deeper connections across the region.”
The Istanbul investment arrives as part of Givaudan’s larger international growth moves. Last month, the company invested US$71.5 million to start construction on a fragrance innovation center in France and invested US$110 million in a fragrance facility in Mexico. It also recently announced a creative fragrance hub in Indonesia.
