- IMCD’s Aestheticae Curae kit offers a comprehensive approach to recovery across multiple beauty categories, including skin and hair care.

IMCD is leaning into procedure-driven beauty with its seven formulation innovations designed for post-aesthetic procedure care and recovery. The solutions will be unveiled at In-cosmetics Global 2026 in Paris, France (April 14–16).
The global specialty chemicals and ingredients distribution company cites post-procedure care as one of the fastest-growing segments in modern hair and skin care. According to IMCD, aesthetic procedures have increased 42,5% globally since 2020, with many new consumers partaking for the first time. In February 2026, #FirstTimeBotox generated 477,000 views weekly, a 12,000% week-on-week increase in engagement on social media.
The company states that such a surge in consumer engagement and consumers considering starting aesthetic procedures indicates expansion in the category.
“Skin care can no longer afford to be an afterthought to procedures,” says IMCD, underlining the importance of integrating skin care holistically into the treatment plan by crafting efficacious routines before, during, and long after procedures.
“Post-procedure skin care is shifting from a niche concern to a mainstream opportunity,” says Irene Cantos, global director of Beauty & Personal Care at IMCD.
“Consumers are more informed, more proactive, and they want products that genuinely support their results, not just soothe them in the short term. The Aestheticae Curae kit represents our response to this: rigorous science, smart formulation, and a real understanding of what skin needs to recover well and maintain aesthetic outcomes over time.”
Focus on aesthetic care
The kit is made up of seven formulations designed for post-procedure recovery
At the In-cosmetics show, IMCD will center its stand around the formulation kit, Aestheticae Curae — named after the Latin term for aesthetic care. The kit is based on a wide-scope view of treatments and is built off the belief that “great results don’t end when the procedure is over.”
The kit is made up of seven formulations designed for post-procedure recovery or result longevity across skin care, hair care, sun care, toiletries, and color cosmetics.
Calmantia Cutis is an anti-inflammatory cream with cooling and soothing properties, designed for use after facial or body procedures. For post-procedure cleansing, Delicata Universalis is touted to be an ultra-gentle foam cleanser. Also for post-procedure skin recovery, Integritas Solaris is a highly absorbent, high-protection sun care ingredient, developed to embolden the natural healing process of the skin.
For post-injection recovery, Volumen Laborium is a plumping lipstick with anti-hyaluronidase and collagen-boosting actions, aligned with use after lip fillers. The collagen-boosting nano-emulsion serum, Structura Dermis, was created to support botulinum toxin injections.
To aid in the arduous post-hair transplant recovery process, Regeneratio Capitis is a soothing spray to help protect new hair and bolster hair regrowth. Finally, Lenis Scalpium is a foaming shampoo with humectant properties to provide comfort to the scalp.
