Revieve and Marionnaud Switzerland launch AI-enhanced personalized hair care advisor
06 Oct 2023 --- Software company Revieve has joined forces with Marionnaud Switzerland, a European distributor of fragrances and cosmetics, to debut an AI Haircare Advisor in Switzerland and Austria.
By joining forces with Revieve, Marionnaud aims to elevate its consumer experience and set new “benchmarks” in the beauty industry. This collaboration combines Revieve’s proprietary mobile selfie diagnostics technology for hair, user input and AI-powered personalized recommendations, all integrated into a single interactive experience.

Marionnaud’s AI Haircare Advisor harnesses Revieve’s patented mobile selfie diagnostics technology and AI recommendation engine, which gathers essential customer information. Through this data-driven strategy, Marionnaud’s AI Haircare Advisor extends precise product recommendations that elevate customer satisfaction and bolster customer retention rates.

Hair care innovations
In hair care solutions, Symrise recently introduced an anti-dandruff active, Crinipan PO. The premium-grade, high-purity ingredient offers proven efficacy and an option to replace zinc pyrithione, an EU prohibited substance. Symrise added piroctone olamine to its portfolio, which the company touts as a widely recognized and trusted anti-dandruff ingredient.
Last month, a study revealed that patchouli (Pogostemon cablin) leaf extract alleviated scalp dryness and was clinically evaluated on volunteers with dry and flaky scalps. In addition to looking at the physiological benefits of the leaf extract, its effects on stimulating emotions were assessed through three neuroscientific methods.
