Miranda Kerr launches Kora Organics on Amazon’s “The Drop” line alongside holiday gift guide
18 Nov 2021 --- Australian supermodel and businesswoman Miranda Kerr is partnering with Amazon to launch her Kora Organics skincare brand alongside its holiday gift guide. These offerings will be released on November 22 via Amazon’s exclusive line, The Drop, which gives customers access to new limited-edition collections designed by global influencers.
Kerr’s gift guide will feature items across fashion, home and beauty.
“Being a busy Mom of three boys, I know how convenient it is to shop in the Amazon store. Kora Organics will be available in the Amazon Premium Beauty store,” says Miranda Kerr, CEO and founder of Kora Organics.
“I founded Kora Organics on the values of providing people with healthy, clinically active and affordable products that deliver results. This is an opportunity to bring our certified organic skincare to even more customers around the world.”
Organically nourished skin
Amazon Premium Beauty will feature a selection of Kora Organics product assortment, including the brand’s best-selling favorites: Turmeric Brightening & Exfoliating Mask and Noni Glow Face Oil.
According to the company, the skincare range was designed to leave the skin “healthy, glowing and radiant.”
The Kora Organics products feature noni extract, a superfruit rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.
The antioxidant qualities in the noni fruit protect skin from environmental damage caused by free radicals, which are constantly stressing skin and can lead to the signs of premature aging and skin sensitivity.
Nourishing the mind and skin
It’s essential to nourish your mind, body and skin as they’re all connected, notes Kerr.
“Each product features a positive word of affirmation on the back, and the formulas are filtered through rose quartz crystals during the manufacturing process to infuse the product with the energy of love,” she remarks.
Rose quartz is a pink crystal believed to carry soothing energies. By filtering the products through rose quartz, the company “hopes to infuse a vibration of love into the products and on to its customers.”
Aside from noni fruit, the selection of organic ingredients used in Kora’s formulations includes kakadu plum, silver ear mushroom, green tea, aloe vera, rosehip oil, turmeric, aspen bark, kahai oil, tomato fruit, macadamia nut, papaya and sea buckthorn. These ingredients contain antioxidants and essential fatty acids that “feed” the skin with nutrients.
According to the company, external studies have shown that organic fruits and vegetables may produce up to 60% more antioxidants than non-organic fruits and vegetables.
Certified organic
Kora Organics products are certified organic, and each product is free of sulfates, parabens, synthetic fragrance or synthetic colors. Ecocert/COSMOS provides the certification. This independent global certification body audits everything from the ingredients to the manufacturing facilities to the packaging materials to guarantee they meet certified organic regulations.
Ecocert/COSMOS Organic guarantees the responsible use of natural resources, respecting biodiversity, no GMOs, recyclable packaging and cruelty-free.
Kora Organics has committed to becoming Climate Neutral Certified from 2021. To achieve this, the brand is partnering with Climate Neutral, a non-profit organization, that will help Kora Organics measure and offset its carbon footprint annually while working to reduce future emissions.
Celebrities entering the beauty scene
In recent months, the beauty industry has seen a proliferation of celebrities rolling out their own branded launches.
Last week, Billie Eilish introduced her signature perfume fragrance, while Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty entered the digital beauty space with its “makeover” of Riot Games.
Meanwhile, designer fragrances Tom Ford Beauty and Jo Malone London were hailed as key drivers behind growth at The Estée Lauder Companies.
